A Road Safety Audit (RSA) examines a road’s safety performance. It identifies potential safety issues and opportunities to improve the safety environment for all road users, including pedestrians, bus users, and workers.

The «Design Manual for Roads and Bridges Volume 5» (British Standards for RSA HD 19/03) conducts and prepares road safety audits.

RSA has been carried out for four projects based on detailed designs.

These projects are:
• Tripoli Eastern Ring Road (6.5 km)
• Bir El Haith–Qartaba Road (8.5 km)
• A1 Road – Northern Entrance of Beirut (10.5 km)
• Syr Bypass and Link Road to Bakhoun (14.4 km)

• Traffic safety analysis, including the collection of road accident data.
• Analyze and evaluate the detailed geometric design provided by the client.
• Analysis of road safety issues by British Standards for Road Safety Audits (RSA).
• Proposing amendments and improvements to meet road safety requirements.
