Detailed project description 

The project consists of several tasks:

• Assessment of existing surface parking demand and supply within the SOLIDERE historic district (including Nejmeh Square, Maarad Street, Foch and Allenby districts), which includes a user survey within the district.

• Development of parking rates for the district and forecasting of future parking demand based on land use and occupancy ratios.

• Proposal of measures to accommodate future parking demand, including a description of available techniques and equipment for monitoring and detecting speed limit violations and traffic light violations at intersections.
