The study examined the network functioning of a new extension to the free trade zone at Abu Dhabi Airport, focusing on various land uses (industrial, storage, and mini-warehouses). It identified generated and attracted traffic, and developed a traffic distribution plan. Additionally, the study analyzed access points, evaluated the traffic impact, and explored different scenarios at both macro and micro modelling levels.
