The main objective of this study is to assess the operation conditions of selected sections on selected sections of the Lebanese classified road network (total length around 420 km) in order to carry out an economic feasibility study for the rehabilitation of the planned re- habilitation projects.

Three milestones are recognized in this study in order to perform the following scope of work:

– Milestone 1: Completion of the gathering and tabulation of road pavement data comprising 34.5 km (as pilot project).
– Milestone 2: Completion of the gathering and tabulation of a road pavement data comprising 382 km.
– Milestone 3: Performing an economic feasibility study for the rehabilitation of the entire selected network, totaling 416.5 km in length.

• Presenting a detailed description of each road section.
• Traffic analysis including base year figures and traffic forecasts.
• Developing socio-economic study for all road sections.
• Developing a specific method to assess impact of rehabilitation projects on road safety conditions
• Proposing actions and adequate measures to improve operation road safety conditions along the studied road sections.
• Economic Feasibility Assessment and projects prioritization for the rehabilitation of the entire selected network using HDM-4 and
taking into consideration crashes risks.
