Detailed description of project

The project consists of several tasks:

• Assessment of existing surface parking demand and supply within the SOLIDERE historic district (Nejmeh square, Maarad Street, Foch and Allenby district) including a parking users’ survey in the district.
• Development of parking rates for the district, and forecast of future parking demand in accordance with land use and occupancy ratios.
• Proposal for measures to accommodate future parking demand. Description of the available techniques and equipment used in the monitoring, and detection of speed limit violations and traffic red light violations at intersections.
