Detailed description of project

Definition of a reference case for the central corridor (Khémis Méliana – Bourj Arréidj, and Constantine Bypass – around 300 km), traffic and revenues forecasts for a future toll highway.

Data analysis, assembly of OD Matrices and calibration of the base case (year 2003), analysis of tariff policy and proposal for optimisation scenarios.

Recommendations for the implementation plan at long and medium terms.

• Traffics Modelling (current situation and future scenario – forecasts of traffic and revenues).
• Calibration of reference case for both categories (LV: light vehicle - HV: heavy vehicle).
• Developing a toll system (Comparison of open and closed systems).
